Individually participants reviewed the documents from the August 2011 Summit and each of the PLAN documents developed by four standing committees (Diversity, Facilities, Retention, and Technology) and ten Action Teams from January through April 2012. Each offered to “champion” one of the PLAN documents. Through reflection and conversation with at least two others, each “champion” identified specific actions related to his/her area. The entire group offered insights to the initial ideas, which will be refined before the July 13 meeting of the Leadership Council. Final decisions about the specific actions will be shared with all faculty and staff on August 16.

Leadership Council holds Action Planning Retreat
Members of the Leadership Council gathered at the 577 Foundation for the first of two days devoted to collaboratively identifying the annual priorities and strategic actions for the 2012-2013 academic year.
